BVLLC Commissions Dennis Lanier to Commemorate HMS Term

After announcing this past summer that he would be parting ways with Hendrick Motorsports following the 2006 NASCAR season, Brian Vickers and his management corporation – BVLLC, commissioned motorsports artist Dennis Lanier to produce a limited-edition, custom artwork celebrating the 4-year partnership. The outstanding result - titled “Adversity is the Foundation of Virtue”, was recently gifted exclusively to members of Vickers’ race teams, sponsors and other recipients; the print is not available nor intended for sale or resale.

“We chose Dennis for this special project because he is a local artist with a lot of talent to become a household name in the industry,” stated Brian Vickers. “I am really pleased with the results... the art is a fitting tribute to our association with HMS, GMAC and all of the partners who support our efforts. We chose the title, which is a translation of a Japanese proverb I liked, to pay tribute to the quality and resiliency of both parties’ spirit through the experiences during our time together.”

Produced in limited editions, each artwork is numbered and signed by both Dennis Lanier and Brian Vickers. The Certificate of Authenticity included with each artwork is also a unique collectible, with itemized numbering to match with each print and additional artwork by Lanier commemorating Vickers’ NASCAR NEXTEL Cup and West Series’ wins from the 2006 season.
